Sundar Nursery is proposed to become not only an ecological hub as part of a world class nursery but also serve as a cultural hub for the people of Delhi especially school children. Towards this objective, several facilities and programmes have been planned like the Garden Amphitheatre, Gardenhouse, nature trails, heritage walks, open-air-theatre to serve as classroom amidst nature, amongst others. The micro-habitat zone is also meant to give an enriching ecological educational experience to the 300,000+ school children who visit the adjoining Humayun’s Tomb.
